Meet Patricia
I help women who have suffered abuse, sexual and otherwise, find some peace and calm from the chaos of their lives.
I am a certified Master NLP practitioner, and also trained in EFT, Metaphor In Mind, meditation, Level 1 Reiki, LAB Profile (Language and Behaviour), certified Master Business Coach, meditation, journaling, and more.
I am a leader. I am a coach, mentor, teacher, and healer at my core. I help others create the shifts they desire in their lives, personally, professionally and passionately. I am passionate about mind/body/spirit connection, spirituality, learning, self-awareness and self-development.
We all want to feel acceptance, approval, safety and love. It is my intention to help you find deeper levels of these in your professional and personal lives. With my gifts of intuition, openness, caring, life skills and education I help you find these resulting in a deeper relationship within, and in the world.
Prior to founding The Universe Unfolds, I spent 20+ years in the finance and service industries where I held a number of management positions including training, office management, internal audit, human relations, customer relations, information technology, retail and as a major fundraiser.
I have lived and survived a great deal both personally and professionally including sexual, emotional, psychological, physical, and financial abuse. These life experiences have been key in developing life skills I would not have otherwise been privileged to learn. Every experience is a lesson.
While both working and as a single mother for ten years, and subsequently re-marrying, I experienced many challenges a career woman faces: the pressures of balancing work and family, continuing my education, motivating myself and others, while continuing to develop more self- awareness.
I have been involved with helping women, and networking, for most of my adult life. Most recently I was on the executive for CFUW St. Catharines and Chair of their major fundraiser for 2 years, where we set a record in dollars raised in my 2nd term.
In the past, I was also privileged to be involved in helping women in business build networking and development opportunities in my role as Director and franchise owner for Company of Women Niagara. I was also on the Advisory Board of Company of Women, a phenomenal business and networking organization for women.
I am a co-founder of CANLP (Canadian Association of NLP Neuro Linguistics Programming) (now defunct).
I served as Co-President for 2 years and Past President with my husband. with the Niagara Dinner Dance Club (aka Niagara Supper Club) in 2009/10/11.
As the Director for the Swim of Hope we raised awareness and $10,000 for abused children at The Gatehouse. http://thegatehouse.org/
In previous incarnations I was President of Montreal Women’s Network; co-founder of Candiac Wednesday Group which celebrated it’s 38th anniversary in 2018; was an active member of OWL (Ottawa Women’s Lobby), and NAC (National Action Committee on the Status of Women).
While employed at Canada Post Head Office I had the honour of leading a large team for a United Way campaign. We raised over $250,000 increasing the participation rate from a historical high of 63% to 80.1%. This was a very rewarding experience.
Meditation and living in gratitude leads my life. It gives me great peace and grounding allowing me to remember what is most important. Whether it is sitting to ‘formally’ meditate, do a guided meditation, walk in nature, or simply be in the moment and at peace with myself, I always benefit, spiritually, emotionally and physically.
I love to share my journey through blogging, poetry, presentations, workshops, public speaking, teaching meditation and one on one coaching.
One thing I know for sure is that my life is significantly enhanced when I live it in gratitude and how my Universe Unfolds as a result.
